about
In stout defense of the Great Spirit, a vitriolic wind blows against the attacks of Christianity by Sagoyewatha. The indigenous spiritual resistance continues!
lyrics
Brothers, you say that you are sent
To instruct us how to worship the Great Spirit
Agreeably to his mind
And if we do not take hold
We shall be unhappy hereafter
You say that you are right
And we are lost
How do we know this to be true?
How?!
We are told that your religion
Was given to your forefathers
We also have a religion
Which was given to our forefathers
You say there is but one way
To worship and serve the Great Spirit
If there is but one religion; why do you white people differ so much about it?
Why not all agreed? As you can all read the book?
How do we know this to be true?!
How?!

Kommodus is the acid rain that pours on you melting your existence with it's sheer combustion power. I'm thinking this is first wave black metal through modern lense with strong concept of nonmodern temper of survival of the fittest. Pugnacious drums ushers dark army of decimating riffs and basslines to immolate everything on their way. There's hints of early Sepultura too which is kinda refreshing. Fine, defiant art. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
