lyrics
THREATS FROM THE JAGONASH
“AN EXPENSIVE NUISANCE”
A CAMPAIGN OF TERROR
IN THE HANDS OF THE ENEMY
WITH A GROWING CONSPIRACY
A GREAT ALLIANCE MUST FORM
CIRCULATION OF THE WAR BELTS
AN INVITATION FOR WAR
WARRIORS, BESIEGE
DEATH TO THE GARRISONS
OBWANDIYAG, FEARLESS CHIEF
LAUNCHING OF A FULL-SCALE WAR
HOWLS FROM THE WOODS
RAPID BARRAGE OF GUNFIRE
BULLETS PENETRATING FLESH
PIERCE THROUGH THE STOCKADES
SCREAMS OF DYING MEN
THE REST BOUND AND CAPTURED
A COLLECTIVE RESISTANCE
THE FORTS SHALL FALL
THEY COME WITH TREACHEROUS INTENTIONS
AN ERUPTION OF CONFLICT
WRETCHED INVADERS
CUT OFF THEIR SUPPLY CHAIN
FORCE THEM TO SURRENDER!

Kommodus is the acid rain that pours on you melting your existence with it's sheer combustion power. I'm thinking this is first wave black metal through modern lense with strong concept of nonmodern temper of survival of the fittest. Pugnacious drums ushers dark army of decimating riffs and basslines to immolate everything on their way. There's hints of early Sepultura too which is kinda refreshing. Fine, defiant art. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
